We read that there was a hotel in Memphis, called the Peabody Hotel, with a beautiful lobby with a fountain in which there are 5 ducks swimming between 11 am and 5 pm. Every morning they will leave their room on the 12th floor, walk into the elevator and walk on the red carpet to their pond with a fountain and every evening they come out of the pond, walk on the red carpet to the elevator back to their room. They do that since 78 years, it was so funny to see this. We also read, that the Rendez-Vous Restaurant was the most famous restaurant in Memphis, they are famous for their BBQ, so we decided to eat there and we were not disappointed. Even the presidents Bush and Clinton did eat in the Rendez-Vous Restaurant. After dinner we sat in the park and listened to live music for an hour or so, then we took a cab back to our camper.
