From our camp ground in Nashville we took a shuttle downtown, where we did a Walking Tour. Our guide told us a lot about the history of Nashville. We also went to the Ryman Auditorium, which first was a Religious Center, but which later changed into a place from where a country live radio show was broad casted a few times a week, called The Grand Ole Opry. After 24 years the place became too small and a bigger building was built and became the new Grand Ole Opry, from which still a few times a week a live radio show is broad casted. The Ryman building is still there and is more like a museum now. It’s a beautiful building with great acoustics and there are a lot of items from great country stars to be seen.
